VITICULTURAL COOPERATION IN NAOUSSA

Taralas Winery and Ktima Biblia Chora have recently proceeded into a viticultural collaboration by co-managing one of the best organic vineyards in Naoussa. Under the supervision of the agronomist Christos Taralas, the team of the two experienced winemakers, Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis, is proceeding with changes in the vineyard’s management with the aim of making the best out of it. As far as winemaking is concerned, each Estate continues to operate individually, without having any common plans for a new product.

Taralas Winery continues to exclusively cultivate its 10 ha vineyard in Naoussa and produce its well-known wines, having as its primary aspiration the promotion of Xinomavro variety in all its versions.

Ktima Biblia Chora, always aspiring to promote quality Greek wine, follows its creators’ unstoppable “wine curiosity” and decides to explore one of the most well-known wine regions of Northern Greece, Naoussa. The long-term goal of Biblia Chora is to produce a PDO Naoussa wine, contributing to the region’s notorious reputation.
