Ktima Biblia Chora<\/a>\u00a0is the brainchild of two talented winemakers, Vangelis Gerovassiliou<\/a> and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis<\/a>. In unison, both men earmarked a promising site for a new vineyard in 1998 and went on to create today\u2019s established Greek wine estate.
It is here, on the slopes of the Pangeon Mountain range in Kokkinochori, Kavala that they shaped Ktima Biblia Chora, a state-of-the-art\u00a0winery<\/a> encircled by its own privately owned, organic vineyard which now stretches over 80 ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Discovery Of An Unknown Variety<\/h4>

An unidentified variety was discovered at the foot of Mount Pangeon. DNA testing later shows that it is an old native Greek grape that is nonidentical to any other variety. It has since been duly propagated at the Estate.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
